LAST MINUTE Can't make it to the polls? Submit an emergency absentee ballot application to the Town Clerk's office in Town Hall.

Completed absentee ballots must be delivered to the Town Clerk's office or the dropbox outside Town Hall by Nov 5 at 8pm
Not registered? Register at Town Hall and then vote immediately at the Community Center.

In-person Voting in Orange
ALL in-person voting is at High Plains Community Center, 525 Orange Center Road.
On Election Day in November, voting happens in 3 rooms, based on district (114th Gym; 117th Room 3; 119th Senior Cafe). For all other voting days, i.e., referendums, everyone votes in the gym.

You can vote using an absentee ballot for any of the following reasons:

Active military service

Absence from town on Election Day

Sickness or physical disability (not necessarily your own)

Religion precludes such activity on voting day

Serving as an election official at a polling place other than your own
To request an absentee ballot, download the application, fill it out, and mail it to: Mary Shaw, Town Clerk, 617 Orange Center Road (Town Hall), Orange, CT 06477.
